World champion kickboxer, Dick “the Destroyer” Kimber, offers a high energy, motivational workout experience that will kickstart a new fitness program or reinvigorate one that has hit a weight loss or performance plateau. As fitness director at the Royalty Athletic Club, Amanda has a great range of experience as a fitness trainer and health mentor. She’ll not only pump you up, she’ll get you thinking about eating well and living healthy.

The Knockout Fitness Weekend at Royalty Inn & Royalty Athletic Club is a unique fitness getaway that is all about challenging yourself, discovering your full potential, and having fun! We invite you to experience the support and comradery that spontaneously flows during your weekends’ specialty workshops —from kickboxing to hiking the White Mountains, yoga, and nutrition education. We’re all jump starting fitness and health routines to get in shape and feel good.

K&A has designed this program in a way to be different all the time and push our participants harder than they’d push themselves. But, the program is designed to accommodate participants with varying fitness levels, so customized modifications for every exercise are always an option. Everyone is encouraged to work to their fullest ability.
Meet Your Instructors!
Dick “The Destroyer” Kimber
Dick Kimber is a three-time world champion kickboxer, having excelled in two different weight classes. His record is 24 wins, 22 knockouts, and three losses that he refers to as “lessons.” It is his dedication to hard work, motivation to succeed, and those “lessons” learned that Kimber now imparts on the many students he trains.
Kimber has been inducted into Action Magazine‘s Hall of Fame and recognized as “Man of the Year” for his dedication to the sport and his ongoing work to help others get into shape through the sport of kickboxing. His talent has also been tapped for television and film roles including a role in “Walker: Texas Ranger,” and 12 episodes of “Spencer for Hire.” He also acted in the Japanese film “Mr. X” with kickboxing master Joe Lewis and played Weird Al’s roadie in the film “The Complete Al.” Even after Kimber moved to Berlin, NH about 17 years ago to start his second life as a motivational trainer, he competed against 11-time World Kickboxing Champion Don “The Dragon” Wilson in a pay-per-view event.

Amanda is as equally psyched about nutrition as she is about overall fitness. In fact, she’s all about focusing on lifestyle choices for overall healthy living. Amanda has a BS degree in Nutrition and is a Certified Personal Trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine and Certified Sports Nutritionist with the International Sports Sciences Association. As Fitness Director at the Royalty Athletic Club, she manages all aspects of the club. But, mostly, she loves leading classes in everything from Bootcamp workouts, to aqua aerobics and yoga, and motivating her students along the way. Amanda strongly believes that being physically active plays a fundamental role in overall health and wellness and is passionate about helping people of all skill levels reach their personal fitness goals by leading them in workouts that are both challenging and achievable.
Included in this Package
Get results by starting your day in Boot Camp–a circuit training style class that includes weight training, plyometrics, core strength, and total body resistance exercises. Then, you’ll get some fresh air with a hike in the beautiful White Mountains. After lunch, get working on your kickboxing skills, aquasize, and learn about preparing a nutrition plan that best works for you — we’ll even send you off with a meal planning guide…complete with nutritious and delicious recipes!
