Gorham NH to again host New Hampshire’s largest 4th of July Celebration!
June 27, 2014
In just one week, the town of Gorham NH will begin the largest fourth of July celebration in the state of New Hampshire! It all begins at 5:00 PM Thursday July 3rd when the Miller Amusements Carnival Midway opens. The carnival is highlighted that night with a concert from 6 PM until 9 PM featuring the band Rock Bottom. The carnival runs for four days featuring concerts for the first three nights.
Other fourth festivities include a rubber duck race on the Androscoggin River, a kiddies parade, a chowder / soup & desert cook-off, a major fourth of July parade down Main Street, balloon time with Bobo the Clown, a classic car parade and, of course, a fabulous fireworks display Friday night at 10:00 PM presented by Atlas Pyrotechnics. This is one Independence Day celebration that is not to be missed! Of course the Royalty Inn is conveniently located within walking distance to all of these festivities. At the time of this post, there are still some rooms available at the Royalty. Why not treat yourself with a get-a-way to the white Mountains of New Hampshire this fourth of July weekend and take all of this action in along with all of the great attraction that this region has to offer. We look forward to hosting you!
